MONTICELLO CITY CODNCI' SPECIAL MEETING
August 16, 1976 - 4 P.M.

1. Review of City Hall Fire Hal and Senior Citizens
Center Improvement Project.
Purpose of the meeting was to review City Hall,
and Senior Citizens Center rovement Project.
Fire Hall,
Mr. Herb Ketcham, of the Arch"tectural Alliance firm,
reviewed various design conce ts with the council.
Mr. Ketcham indicated a progr m with a timetable could be
ready within a week and Augus 25, at 4 P.M. was set as
a special meeting of the il to review program.

By council consensus, city a inistrator, Gary Wieber,
was appointed to a gross earn"ngs study committee made
up of representatives from sc 001, city, townships and
counties within Wright and Sherburne County. Purpose of
committee is to study alterna ives and possible amendments to
gross earnings legislation.

Also in attendance: Dave Fri ke, Wright County; Charles
Holthaus, Ba il Schillewaert, Franklin Denn,
Monticello Townwhip; John Badalich, Keith
Nelson, Al Javinsky and Ching Woo of OSM.
The purpose of the meeting as to review the preliminary

The engineer's preliminary r commendations would be to
upgrade the existing sewage lant to accomodate the in-
creased flow, due partly to "nfiltration, rather than
repairing the existing sewer lines.

October, 1976. At that tim, the city of Monticello will
