PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
March 19, 1975 - 7:30 P. M.
Members present: Howard Gillham, Ron White, Larry
Muehlbauer, Fred Topel, J. W. Miller, Willard Anderson.
Absent: Chuck Stumpf, Gordon Steinert.
Minutes of February 18, 1975 approved.
1. Presentation of Charles L. Ritze Plot.
Robert Rohlin and Casey Kjellberg presented plot to
Commission for further study. Mr. Ritze would like
approval on Lot 19 as soon as possible. Robert
Rohlin said he would check on flood level. Howard
Dahlgren, Midwest Planning & Research, reviewed after
presentation and stated following problems:
Some lots had double street frontage;
Some lot. faced busy street.
Both the planner and the engineer, Chuck Wetzler from
Orr-schelen-Mayeron & Associates, were given copies
of the plot for further study and recommendation.

2. Review of Preliminary Plat (Known as Plat Plan #4).
Howard Dahlgren felt it would be well to obtain a
copy of the proposed plot from interested landowners
for further study and review.
3. Presentation by Midwest Planning and Research.
Howard Dahlgren showed slide presentation on his
firm and various projects his firm had worked on.
Mr. Dahlgren did not think it necessary to seek
extension of 180 day moratorium. He did state an
extension might be necessary in specific circumstances
as the need arises.
Mr. Dahlgren also advised the city purchase aerial
photographic maps cOB~Lng $550 through Mark Hurd.
Motion was made by Howard Gillham, seconded by Fred
Topel, and unanimously carried to recommend to city
council that above maps be purch~sed.
4. Consideration of recommendations from Wright Soil
and Water Conservation District on plats (see attached).
