Planning Commission Minutes 06-12-1978 (Special Meeting) _n_ . . SPECIAL MEEl'ING - MONTICELLO PLANNING COMMISSION June 12, 1978 - 5:00 P.M. Members present: Jim Ridgeway, Fran Fair, Fred Topel, Denton Erickson, Loren Klein (ex-officio).. Member absent: D.. Bauer.. 1.. Variance Request - Septic Tanks. Mr. Sam Peraro, who is proposing Commercial Plaza 25, requested a variance to allow him to use septic tanks on the approximately one acre lots within that subdivision, until such time as sewer and water is extended to the proposed lots. Mr.. Peraro petitioned for sewer and water at the time he made his subdivision request.. Ck1 motion made by D. &ickson, seconded by F. Fair and unanimously carried, the commission recommended approval to allow septic tanks on Commercial Plaza 25 until such time as sewer and water is aVailable, contingent upon final approval of this plat. 2. Public Hearing - Conditional Use Permit - Automatic Garage ])Jor Co. . In accordance with Ordinance lo..l3-L.-(J), the Automatic Garage Ibor Co.. had made application for a building pennit to put a warehouse on Lot 5, Block 1 of proposed Commercial Plaza 25. This would require a Conditional Use Pennit. Ck1 motion made by F. Fair, seconded by F. Topel and unanimously carried, the commission recommended approval of this Conditional Use Permit, contingent upon final approval of this plat. 3. Building Permit Application - Wrightco Products. Wrightco Products made application for a building permit to add cold storage on to the west end of their building. This area is zoned I-I.. Their plans have been reviewed and meet the codes and ordinances. The parking requirements presently are adequate and would continue to be adequate with the new addition. The proposed drainage is also adequate. 4. A motion was made by D. Erickson, seconded by F.. Topel and uninimously carried to approve this application for a building permit, and also to recommend that the landscaping requirement be waived, as there is already an abundant amount of landscaping. NSP Building Permit ,Application. NSP has applied for a building permit to construct a 12,000 square foot addition to their Administration Building. They have submitted plans and specifications to the Building Inspector, and meet all codes and ordinances. . -1- ....' . . . 6/12/78 - Minutes A motion was made by F. Topel, seconded by F. Fair and unanimously carried to recommend approval of this building permit application for a l2,OOO sq. ft. addition to NSP's administration building. Motion was made by D. Erickson, seconded by F.
