City Council Resolution 2002-11RESOLUTION NO. 2002-11 RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF MINNESOTA STREET WHEREAS, a public hearing on the vacation of a portion of Minnesota Street lying between Block R and Block S in the Original Plat of Monticello was held on March 11, 2002 at 7 p.m. at the Monticello City Hall, and NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO MINNESOTA that the portion of Minnesota Street as described in the attached Exhibit A be vacated by the City of Monticello with the City retaining easement rights. Adopted by the City Council of Monticello, Minnesota this 11 "' day of March, 2002. 40 RzAelsaas, Mayor ATTEST: Rick Wolfsteller, City Administrator EXHIBIT A PROPOSED LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR THE STREETS TO BE PURCHASED FROM THE CITY OF MONTICELLO PERTAINING TO THE PROPOSED PLAT OF VINE PLACE, (MIKE CYR PROJECT), REF: PRELIMINARY PLAT SUBMITTED TO CITY: That part of Vine Street, MONTICELLO, according to the recorded plat thereof, City of Monticello, Wright County, Minnesota, lying southwesterly of the southwesterly right of way line of 6"' Street. AND that part of 7"' Street said plat of MONTICELLO lying southeasterly of the southeasterly right of way line of said Vine Street and northwesterly of the northwesterly right of way line of Minnesota Street. AND that part of Minnesota Street according to the recorded plat of MONTICELLO, City of Monticello, Wright County, Minnesota, lying northerly of the south line of said Block R extended easterly to Block Q said plat, lying westerly of the following described line to be herein known as Line A. And lying southwesterly of the following described line: Commencing at the northeasterly corner of Lot 5, Block S said plat of MONTICELLO; thence southwesterly along the southeasterly line of said Lot 5 a distance of 82.50 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence southeasterly at right angles a distance of 2.96 feet to intersect said Line A and there terminate said line.
