The City Council of Monticello hereby ordains that the
following ordinance Sections 7-2-20 and 7-2-21 pertaining to
sewer and water account collection procedures be added:

ACCOt)NTS PROMPTLY, IN ANY CASE WHERE SATISFACTORY ARRANGEMENTS FOR PAYMENT
HAVE NOT BEEN MADE, THE PUBLIC 4ORKS DEPARTMENT MAY, AFTER THE PROCEDURAL
REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION B HAVE BEEN COMPLIED WITH, DISCONTINUE SERVICE TO
THE DELINQUENT CUSTOMER BY SHUTTING OFF THE WATER AT THE,STOP BOX. `4HEN

DELIVERED TO THE COUNCIL FOR ADOPTION ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 10 OF EACH
YEAR. l}PON SUCH ADOPTION, THE ADMINISTRATOR SHALL. CERTIFY 1HE ASSESSMENT
