A letter tvas recieved from R. Tesch inforMin* the council that he wished to resign
as Village Attorney. Il16tion by Adams to accept this resignation, seconded by Yadsen
and carried, JCasper obstaining.
A letter was recieved from t4e Mjnn. Dept. of Highirays inforriAng that the "picnic -
camping" signs were on the state right of way and must be removed. Bergstrom informed
the council that this had already been coYriplied with.
Motion by T,iadsen to, hire Neil lelassie as village maintain.ence foreman with a starting
salary of X00.00 per month, his employment to start July 15, 196., Seconded by
S,uanson and carried, Kasper voting No.
Motion by Nadsen to approve the vbills as read. Seconded by Swanson and carried.

one for D. ogles 6onstruction Co. on lots 3, 4, & 5 block 54 and one for
K Hagnuson on lots 12 & 13 block Il, Lower Monticello.7he permit for K. IJzagnuson
being subject to presenting the council frith irritten approval of two thirds of
the property oT.mer s in the following prescribed area: All of block 11; the north
half of block 32; lots $, 91 & 10 in block 33; lots 1, 2, 31 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15

thea that the junk must be cleaned from their property within thirty days. Secondea
by Swanson and carried.
Hotion by Swanson to approve the liquor fund bills as read. Seconded by Kasper -
and carried.
Motion by Kasper to have Krueger Hichaelson engineering Oo. draw plains and spec-
ifications for the proposed extension of the water main doim River street to the
hospital, and from the vacinity of the watertower to the main on third street,
and a storm sewer on Wright street from third to fourth street. Seconded by S-rranson
and carried.
iflotion by Kasper to have Krueger Michaelson Engineering Co. review our water rates
and submit recomendati.ons for changes. Seconded by Swanson and carried.
