Special meeting; of the Village Council held this time and date at the Village
Hall. Members present : ilayor Sandberg, Co-uxcilmen Kasper, Tope?, Schaffer,
and Swanberg. Members absent: None. '

Liquor license be renewed for thel es a lislm�ents: 1. Mr. Ken Springborg
(T-lonticello Recreation). 2. 1,1r. Thomas Schneider (Schneiders Recreation). 3.
Firs. Ruth Wangerin (Ruth's 'Cafe). Motion seconded by Councilman. Topel and
carried. Voting yes: TJ1aayor Sandberg, Councilmen Kas_ner, Topel, Schaffer and
Swanberg. Voting no: done.
Motion by Councilman Schaffer to renew Yx. igen Springbor; (Monticello Recreation)
corporate license to the operattw - tlne bowling alley and renew Mr. Thomas
Schneider's (Schneider's Recreation) corporate° license to operate the' pool
room. Motion seconded "by Councilman Swanberg and carried. Voting yes:' mayor
Sandberg, Coilncilmen KasOer, Topel, Schaffer, and Svfanberg. Voting not None.
Motion by Go-ancilman Kasper to authorize Hr. Lyndon Hawkins, Monticello Municipal
Liquor Stare Manager. to sign a debit slip at the Wright County State Bank to
withdraw $5000.00 from the Monticello Municipal Liquor Store account 'for check
cashing each Friday afternoon. Further, this money that is withdrawn for check
cashing purposes is to be redeposited by the Liquor Store Manager the same day
in the Wright Counter State Bank. Motion seconded by Councilman Swanberg and
carried.. Voting yes: Eayor Sandberg, ouncilmen Kasper, Topel, Schaffer, and
Swanberg. Voting no: None.
Motion by Council.rian Kasper to hire Mr. Allen on a temporary need bEcsis to
work with the Village Maintenance Department. He is to be paid at the rate
of $2.15 per hour. Motion seconded b4T Councilman Topel and carried. Voting
yes: i'lla.yor Sandberg, Councilmen Kasper, Topel, Schaffer, and Swanberg. Voting;
no: None.
Council discussed with :11r. Hawkins, Municipal Liquor Stare Manager, about having
some one clean the bar side, lounge, and toilets of the liquor store in the
morning before it opens up for business. Council also discussed the bartenders
