Regular Meeting -Community Center Advisory Board Meeting
Thursday November 16, 2000
Members Present: Harvey Kendall, Bob Murry, Roger Belsaas, Wanda Kramer and Idella Zieger
City Staff: Kitty Baltos Community Center Dorector and Karin Meyer, Assistant Director
Members Absent: Jeff O'Neill, Deputy Administrator -Community Developer
1. Harvey Kendall called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m.
2. Harvey made a motion to approve the minutes for the October 26, meeting, and seconded
by Bob. Every one in favor.
3. No one added changes to the agenda.
4. Discussion was to change the aerobic passes to be, a twice a week class for eight weeks.
The fee will be $15.00 for pass holders and $30.00 for non -pass holders. The motion was
made by Roger to accept these changes and seconded by Idella. A second motion was
made by Bob for the current pass holders who now pay no additional charge for the class.
To pay the $15.00 charge and get their pass extended by one month if they question the
change. Roger seconded this motion. And it was passed.
5. Discussion about the 2001 budget. Roger suggested that Kitty change the amounts for
2000 on her 2001 preliminary comparison, to show the Projected Actual. Everyone felt
that this would give a more accurate account. Also, to figure in a charge for the City Hall,
Senior Center and the National Guard use of the commons area. Kitty brought up
discussion about the snow blower that the Hockey Assoc. has for sale. It still was not
described as to what to buy.
6. Kitty reviewed the programs that the MCC be offering.
7. Several people needed to leave for a budget meeting, Wanda made a motion to a
adjourn seconded by Idella.
