Purpose: The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the removal of items from the
AVR site.
Discussion Items:
1. A 100% plan and project manual was given to Steve at the meeting.
2. AVR will remain in operation on site until November 1, 2005.
3. AVR needs to maintain access to aggregate hoppers near CSAH 18 and the fuel
island. WSB to confirm the installation timeframe for the storm drain under CSAH
18 shown on sheet 88.
4. AVR is asking to store the pumper trucks on site until March 31, 2006. The trucks
need to be in a heated garage because of hydraulics. Scott is looking in to heated
warehouse space for AVR. If trucks can remain, the existing gas and electric service
would have to stay in place also. AVR may not need to have water on site after
November. The trucks will be accessed 2 times each day through out the winter.
Nancy will review the construction staging and notify Steve if truck can remain on
site.

5. There are two wells inside the building. WSB will locate the wells on the plans for
removal
6. AVR is working on where the temporary wash site will be located.
7. The existing gas service line for the AVR site will be surveyed by WSB for
incorporation on the plans.
8. AVR has not determined what will be removed from the site to date. Negotiations
with the City are underway and the items removed will be determined after the
negotiations are complete. For now, WSB will assume the following items are
removed:
• Computer equipment and internal machinery
• Possible one or two of the four silos
• Heating plant inside one of the buildings
• Concrete blocks
• Rebar
• Above ground tanks on skids
• Oil tanks inside the buildings
• Electrical motors
All other items (silos, buildings, walls, conveyors, hoppers, boilers, lighting, etc.)
will remain.
9. AVR bought the site in the spring of 1988. A concrete plant run by others was on
site for 16 years before the purchase. WSB should probably add blasting in the
contract since the site was used as a concrete plant for many years.
10. There is a buried concrete mix drum used for water storage on site.
These minutes were prepared by Nancy Hanzlik. Please provide your corrections to her on
or before August 19, 2005.
