Each of the detector models is UL Listed and works with commercial fire protective signaling and household fire warning systems. Each model detects smoke particles produced during wood, paper, and fabric combustion. These detector models use an infrared (IR) LED light source and a silicon photodiode to measure light in a chamber. A fine screen covers the chamber to deter insects and reduce dust accumulation and nuisance alarms. During a fire, smoke particles reflect light onto the photodiode. When the photodiode measurements exceed the alarm threshold, the detector signals an alarm condition. After the alarm condition clears, interrupt power at the control panel to reset the detector. www.boschsecurity.com BOSCH Invented for life The FMM-100 family are versatile, high -quality, metal fire alarm manual stations. A red Alarm Input LED indicates contact activation. The duration of the contact activation follows the programmed indicating circuit time. Use a jumper to set the contact activation to be instant or delayed by 14 sec when there is an alarm condition. With the delay option selected, a 14 sec delay also occurs upon restoral. This delay feature is useful for momentary bell tests. Two Form C (5 A rated) contacts Remotely controls fire system devices Instant or delayed relay activation and restoral Relay closure follows indicating circuit duration Disable switch supervised for system testing If the user silences the alarm output, the D8130 contacts deactivate. Latching features must be provided for pilot relays or contactor units requiring control beyond the programmed indicating device time or after manual silencing of the indicating circuits. Supervised Disable Switch To facilitate fire alarm installation testing, the D8130 Module contains a supervised disable switch that prevents operation of the relay contacts. An amber Disable LED indicates when the switch is in the disable position. Connect one or more D8130 modules to any unused 1 kO zone or point of the control panel to detect module disabling. A trouble is indicated when the D8130 switch is in the disable position, and a restoral signal is sent when the switch is returned to the normal position. (Refer to the control panel's Program Entry Guide for details on programming a trouble signal for an open or short condition.) When the contacts are activated with the switch in the normal position, no trouble indications are sent to the control panel. Release Contact Outputs A normally -open (NO) terminal, a normally -closed (NC) terminal, and a common (COM) terminal are provided for each D8130 contact. In the inactive state of the contact, the NC terminal has continuity with the COM terminal. In the active state of the contact, the NO terminal has continuity with the COM terminal. z n oC QrD o v m o SI fl < T r c z S = rri rb N D D (D Q o p ot O n f1 n rD :3 N p O Ln CD rD LA00ooon Lnrr O N 6 Q O O f p • O M < v 0 Q f rD CD-CrD = in 33 rp Ln N • kInD N (D fp yfl, w rD rD fl vi a, 3 co N rD n o 3 m M. o 0ort. l< N. rD o a- -Z3 o ° ro O fDn YJ rD rD C) ul QL ro N O -p o< o o •p o Q S O•p < :3n a, 0 n 1p rD — rD n = D rD -. rD rDA (D Ln Un n " n O0 o 0OQOrrN' v W rD (D -0 l 3 LT r) o- n-r n n 00 _ < aF '. rD o D= VOO ^ O D. n T X.
