RESOLUTION 2026-36
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRIBUTIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello is generally authorized to accept contributions of real and
personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 465.03 and 465.04 for the benefit
of its citizens and is specifically authorized to maintain such property for the benefit of its
citizens in accordance with the terms prescribed by the donor. Said gifts may be limited under
provisions of MN Statutes Section 471.895.
WHEREAS, the following persons and/or entities have offered to contribute donations or gifts
as listed:

WHEREAS, all said contributions are intended to aid the City in establishing facilities, operations
or programs within the city's jurisdiction either alone or in cooperation with others, as allowed
by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that it is appropriate to accept the contributions
offered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA: that
1. The contributions described above are hereby accepted by the City of Monticello.
2. The contributions described above will be used as designated by the donor. This may
entail reimbursing or allocating the money to another entity that will utilize the funds
for the purpose stated above.
ADOPTED by the City Council of Monticello this 26th day of May, 2026.
