RESOLUTION APPROVING FIRST AMENDMENT TO
CONTRACT FOR PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City, Kid's Haven of Monticello, LLC and Kid's Haven of Monticello Holdings,
LLC entered into a Contract for Private Development dated March 9, 2026 ("Agreement")
concerning conveyance of a portion of real property owned by the City; and
WHEREAS, prior to conveyance of the property, the City's property will be platted as
Jefferson Commons Fifth Addition; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Agreement to reflect the platted legal
description of the property to be conveyed by the City which will be Lot 1, Block 1, Jefferson
Commons Fifth Addition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the proposed First Amendment to
Contract for Private Development ("Amendment").
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Monticello, Minnesota:
1. The Amendment is hereby approved; and
2. The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to execute any and all documents
necessary and required under the terms of the Agreement and Amendment to effect the
sale of the property described therein, in form(s) approved by the City Attorney.
ADOPTED this 131" day of April, 2026, by the City Council of the City of Monticello,
Minnesota.
