RESOLUTION NO. 2013-014
CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON VACATING
DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS FOR PORTIONS
OF LOTS 7 AND 8, BLOCK 3, CARLISLE VILLAGE 4' ADDITION
PID 155- 183 - 003070 and 155- 183 - 003080
WHEREAS, a petition was received on March 20, 2013 requesting vacation of drainage and utility
easements between Lots 7 and 8, Block 3 of Carlisle Village 4th Addition, and included as Attachment
"A "• and
WHEREAS, the Monticello City Council, pursuant to Minnesota Statute 412.851 and 462.358, desires
to consider the vacation of drainage and utility easements over and across the following property
legally described as follows:
Parcel 1
The drainage and utility easement across the East 6.00 feet of Lot 8, Block 3, Carlisle Village
4th Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, Wright County, Minnesota, lying north of
the South 12.00 feet thereof and lying southwest of the southwesterly line of the Northeasterly
6.00 feet of Lot 7 of said Block 3 extended northwesterly.
Parcel 2:
The drainage and utility easement across the West 6.00 feet of Lot 7, Block 3, Carlisle Village
4th Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, Wright County, Minnesota, lying north of
the South 12.00 feet thereof and lying southwest of the southwesterly line of the Northeasterly
6.00 feet of said Lot 7.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBYRESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the vacation of such easements and a public hearing shall be held
on such proposed vacation on the 22nd day of April, before the City Council in the Council
Chambers located at the Monticello Community Center at 7 p.m.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give published, posted and mailed notice of such
hearing as required by law.
