RESOLUTION NO. 2013-088
CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ADOPTION
OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
RELATING TO CENTRAL MONTICELLO REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT NO. 1, AND THE PROPOSED MODIFICATION OF THE TAX
INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN RELATING TO TAX INCREMENT
FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 6
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council ") of the City of Monticello,
Minnesota (the "City "), as follows:
Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on Monday, November 25, 2013, at
approximately 7:00 p.m., to hold a public hearing on the following matters: (a) the proposed
adoption of a modification to the Redevelopment Program (the "Program ") for Central
Monticello Redevelopment Project No. 1 (the "Redevelopment Project "); and (b) the proposed
modification of the Tax Increment Financing Plan (the "TIF Plan ") relating to Tax Increment
Financing District No. 6 within the Redevelopment Project (the "TIF District "), all pursuant to
and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 through 469.047, as amended,
Sections 469.090 through 469.1082' as amended and Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174
through 469.1794, as amended (collectively, the "Act ").
1. Notice of Hearing; Filing of Program and TIF Plan. The City Clerk is hereby
authorized to cause a notice of the hearing, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A,
to be published as required by -the Act and to place a copy of the proposed modifications to the
Program and TIF Plan for the Redevelopment Project and TIF District on file in the City Clerk's
Office at Monticello City Hall and to make such copies available for inspection by the public.
2. Consultation with Other Taxing Jurisdictions. The City Clerk is hereby directed
to mail a notice of the public hearing and a copy of the proposed modifications to the Program
and TIF Plan to Wright County and Independent School District No. 882 informing those taxing
jurisdictions of the estimated fiscal and economic impact of the proposed modifications.

MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA
HELD: October 14, 2013
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Monticello, Wright County, Minnesota, was duly held at the Monticello City Hall on Monday,
the 14th day of October, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose, in part, calling a public hearing on
the on the proposed adoption of a modification of the Redevelopment Program relating to
Central Monticello Redevelopment Project No. 1 and the proposed modification of the Tax
Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing District No. 6.
The .following Council members were present: Clint Herbst, Lloyd Hilgart, Tom Perrault, Glen
Posusta, Brian Stumpf,
and the following were absent: None.
Councilmember Stumpf introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Hilgart and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor: Herbst, Hilgart, Perrault, Posusta, Stumpf,
and the following voted against the same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
