ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENT
2005 CORE STREET IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 2005-01C
WHERE,4S, pursuant to a written contract signed with the City of Monticello on June 14, 2005
Knife River Corporation (Formerly Buffalo Bituminous) of Buffalo, Minnesota has satisfactorily
completed the improvements to River Street, and Sandy Lane from Chestnut Street to Otter Creek
Road, Willow Street and Oak Lane in accordance with such contract:
NOW THEREFORE, BE 1T HEREEYRESOL VED BY THE CITY CO UNCLE OF 7HE CHY
0dG`M0A1TLCEU0. That the work completed under said contract is hereby accepted subject to:
i . Satisfactory showing that the contractor has complied with the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes 290.92 requiring withholding state income tax.
2. Evidence in the form of an affidavit that all claims against the contractor by reasons of the
contract have been fully paid or satisfactorily secured.
3. Consent of Surety to Final Payment certification from the contractor's surety.
4. Two year maintenance bond covering the period from January 3, 2007 until January 3, 2009.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 20 day of February, 2007.
