City Council Resolution 2005-68WRIGHT COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2005-68 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS HILLSIDE FARMS STORM SEWER OUTLET, PROJECT NO. 2004-7C WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the Hillside Farms watershed by construction of a storm sewer outlet from the Hillside Farms regional pond to the rolling Woods Pond using directional boring, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: CONTRACTOR TOTAL BID Schluender Construction $162,456.70 Burschville Construction, Inc. $167,570.02 Northdale Construction, Inc. $258,440.34 WHEREAS, it appears that Schluender Construction of Monticello, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELL0, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Schluender of Monticello, Minnesota in the name of the City of Monticello for the improvement of the Hillside Farms watershed by construction of a storm sewer outlet from the Hillside Farms regional pond to the rolling Woods Pond using directional boring, according to the plans and specification therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator. 2. The City Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
