CITY OF MONTICELLO
ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
PRAIRIE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT NO. 2003-20C
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 12" day of April, 2004, fixed a date for a
council hearing on the proposed improvement of Prairie Road between CSAH 75 and the proposed plat
of Timber Ridge 3rd Addition by the reconstruction of the roadway to an urban roadway section
on with concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, extension of sanitary sewer and watermain to the serve the
Timber Ridge development, storm sewer improvements and other appurtenant work,
WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the
hearing was held thereon on the 26' day of April, 2004 at which all persons desiring to be heard were
given an opportunity to be heard thereon,
NO W, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREB Y RESOL VED B Y THE CITY CO UNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 26' day of April 2004.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered with the scope of the project area being limited to cover
Prairie Road the property limits of the Timber Ridge 3rd Addition.
3. WSB & Associates is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer
shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvements.
4. The City Council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the improvement
from the proceeds of the tax exempt bond in an amount not to exceed $762,530.
