CITY OF MONTICELLO
RESOLUTION APPROVING MODIFIED FINAL PLAT AND DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT AND REZONING REQUEST
CARLISLE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on July 1, 2003 for the consideration of the
preliminary plat of the Carlisle Village Development, and
WHEREAS, after taking public comment, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the
preliminary plat of the Carlisle Village Development to the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the recommendation of the Planning Commission and on
December 8, 2003 approved the final plat for Carlisle Village First Addition, and
WHEREAS, modifications were made to the approved final plat because of a loss of land from the
original platted area, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA, that the modified final plat and rezoning from Agricultural to R1 -A, R2 -A and R-2 for
Carlisle Village First Addition is hereby approved contingent upon:
1. Meeting all the requirements of the subdivision ordinance and approval of the development
agreement by the City Attorney.
2. Tree removal, grading and utility work boundaries for Phase I to be set by the City Engineer
which include restrictions on work in the wooded areas until plans are approved.
3. Developer provides all securities as required via the attached preliminary finance spreadsheet.
4. Development agreement is executed which identifies a tree preservation plan for Phase I
consistent with the Planned Unit Development approval granted by the City Council. Any
significant changes of the PUD tree preservation protocol must first be approved by the City
Council.
5. Preliminary plat documentation on the entire project to be updated prior to initiation of Phase I.
6. Tree preservation plan to be established prior to any work being allowed in Phase II including
tree removal.
