RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF A GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Monticello Jaycees has submitted an application to the City of Monticello for the
issuance of a one day charitable gambling license to conduct a raffle on September 2, 2000,
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the Council is not opposed to the one day
gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL that the Monticello Jaycees
application for a one day charitable gambling license for September 2, 2000 is hereby approved and
the State Gambling Control Board is authorized to process the application.
