RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND ORDERING PROJECT
FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO PHASE I OF THE KLEIN FARMS
RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for sanitary sewer, water main, streets, and storm
sewer improvements to phase I of the Klein Farms residential subdivision, bids were received, opened,
and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

AND WHEREAS, it appears that Ryan Contracting of Shakopee, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible
bidder.
AND WHEREAS, the petitioner is the sole owner of the property benefiting from the improvements and
the petitioner has waived his rights to a public hearing on this matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with
Ryan Contracting of Shakopee, Minnesota, in the name of the City of Monticello for sanitary
sewer, water main, streets, and storm sewer improvements to phase I of the Klein Farms
residential subdivision according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder
shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
3. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted the 12th day
of December, 1994.
