City Council Ordinance 241ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 241
THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO HEREBY ORDAINS THAT
ZONING ORDINANCE SECTION 10-16-3 RELATING TO ACCESSORY
USES IN THE I-2 ZONE BE AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
16-3: ACCESSORY USES:
(A) Permitted Accessory Uses: The following are permitted accessory
uses in an "I-2" district:
1. All permitted accessory uses allowed in an I-1 (light industrial)
district.
(B) Interim Accessory Uses: The following are interim accessory uses in
an "I-2" district:
1. One temporary structure as an interim accessory use, subject
to the following conditions:
(a) The interim accessory structure is not to exceed 700 sq
ft.
(b) The property owner(s) sign a development agreement
with the City controlling site development and use,
including a date upon which the interim use is to
terminate.
(c) The termination date is established at a point not longer
than two (2) years following City Council approval.
(d) The property owner supply adequate security to ensure
removal of the interim structure and use upon reaching
the termination date.
(e) All other standards of the Monticello Zoning Ordinance
are met.
(f) Any Interim Accessory Use or Structure approved under
this section will not be considered to constitute an
expansion of a pre-existing legal non -conforming use
where applicable.
