City Council Resolution 1989-31Counci lmember warren smith introduced the following resolution, the reading of which was dispensed with by unanimous consent, and moved its adoption: CITY OF IVpNTICELLO COUNTY OF WRIGHT STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 89-31 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT BY THE CITY OF MpNTICELLO OF DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 AND THE PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT OF THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM RELATING THERETO AND THE PROPOSED ESTABLISHMENT OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1-1 AND THE PROPOSED ADOPTION OF THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN RELATING THERETO. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Monticello, Minnesota (the "City"), as follows: Section 1. Public Hearing. This Council shall meet on October 30, 1989, at approximately 5:00 t'.M:., to hold a public hearing on the following matters: (a) the proposed establishment of the City's Development District No. 1, (b) the proposed adoption of the Development Program relating thereto, (c) the proposed establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-1 therein, and (d) the proposed adoption of the Tax Increment Financing Plan relating thereto, all pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 469, as amended. Section 2. Notice of Hearing; Filing of Program. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the hearing, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be given as required by law, to place a copy of the proposed Development Program and the Tax Increment Financing Plan on file in the Clerk's office at City Hall and to make such copy available for inspection by the public no later than October 6, 1989. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by counci lmember shirlev Anderson , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Fran Fair, Warren Smith, Ken Maus, Shirley Anderson Dan Blonigen ~> and the following voted against the same: None. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the City Council of Monticello, Minne ota, on October 10 1989. _ ~--- ay T: erk c' -~ EXHIBIT A Notice of Public Hearing CITY OF HAUNT I CELLO COUNTY OF WRIGHT STATE OF MINNESOTA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Monticello, County of Wright, State of Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on October 30, 1989, at approximately 5:-00 p.m., at City Hall, Monticello, Minnesota, relating to the proposed establishment of the City's Development District No. 1 and the proposed adoption of the Development Program relating thereto pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 through 469.134, inclusive, the proposed establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-1 and the proposed adoption of the Tax Increment Financing Plan relating thereto, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174 through 469.179, inclusive.
