City Council Resolution 1983-89RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION ON AN
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT WORKSHEET UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF 6 MCAR SECTION 3 FOR THE SUBDIVISION
CURRENTLY REFERRED AS MEADOW OAK.
RESOLUTION 1983 #89
WHEREAS, the developers of Meadow Oak, a Planned Unit Development,
within the corporate limits of the City of Monticello propose
a phased construction of over 500 residential units, and
WHEREAS, 6 MCAR Sec. 3.028 F. 1 states that phased actions shall
be considered as a single project, and
WHEREAS, 6 MCAR Sec. 3.038 R. l(b) declares that a project of this
scope requires the preparation of an Environmental Assessment
Worksheet.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA, THAT:
1) Pursuant to 6 MCAR Section 3 the preparation of an Environmental
Assessment Worksheet covering the subdivision known as Meadow
Oak is hereby ordered.
2) McCombs-Knutson is hereby designated to prepare said EAW,
and submit to the City Administrator within 25 days of the
date of adoption of this resolution.
3) The City Administrator, upon receipt of the final EAW,
shall cause:
a) the required copies to be made and distributed;
b) a public hearing before the City Council to be set;
c) public notice of said hearing to be published
all at the expense of the developers of Meadow Oak.
