City Council Resolution 1979-15RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN AMENDED
STEP 3 FEDERAL AND STATE GRANT APPLICATION
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of Monticello hereby authorizes
the filing of an amended Step 3 Grant Application for State anal Federal
Funds for the construction of sewage treatment facilities under the Federal.
Water Pollution Control Act Amendments of 1977 and that Arve Grimsmo is
designated as the official municipal .representative and hereby authorized
to execute the necessary application documents.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the calculation of Federal Grant. Project
Costs as Amended total $5,562,510 compared to the original Step 3 Grant
Application of $4,537,730, and the Grantee's share as calculated total
$508,402 compared to original application amount of $453,772.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc.,
Minneapolis, Minnesota, are designated as the engineers to provide
professional and technical services for the City of Monticello with respect
to the Step 3 Building and Erection of Treatment Works and Interceptor
Facilities, and are authorized to file the necessary grant application
to the MPCA for Federal and State funds.

Phil White.
