City Council Resolution 1978-06RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT
AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci'l of the City, of Monticello, Minnesota
as follows:
1. Petitions have been filed with the City Council of Monticello
and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 429-035 their adeqdacy
has been determined on the following imprcvements.-
(A) Extension of Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer, Curb,
Gutter and Permanent Street Improvements from the intersection
of 6th and Minnesota Streets to 7th and Minnesota Streets.
(B) Extension of Sanitary Sewer and Watermain along 5th Street
from Elm to Vine Street.
(C) Extension of Sanitary Sewer and Watermain along Elm Street
from 5th to 6th Streets.
(D) Extension of Sanitary Sewer and Water along Washington
Avenue to the S.1 of Lots 7 and 8, Blk 32, Lower Monticello.

(E) Extension of Sanitary Sewer, Curb, Gutter and Permanent
Street Improvements from the intersection of 6th and Pine Streets
to 6th and Cedar Streets.
(F) Extension of Sanitary Sewer, Watermain, Storm Sewer, Curb,
Gutter, and Permanent Street Improvements along 3.11. streets
within the following subdivisions:
Sandberg South Plat
Riverside Plat
Country Club Manor Plat
Kampa Estates Plat
Thomas Industrial Park
(G) Extensions os Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, Curb, Gutter and
Permanent Street Improvements through Lauring Hillside Addition
from the intersection of 7th and Cedar to gashington and 7th Street.
(11) Extensions of Sanitary Sewer, Storm. Sewer, Watermain, Curb,
Gutter, Street Lights and Permanent Street Improvements through
all streets within the Holker Subdivision Plat.
2. 'ni.ese aforementioned petitions have been referred to John Badalich,
consulting city engineer, with firm of Orr.-Schelen-Mayeron and
Associates, -Inc. and.he is instructed to report to the council
March 27, 1978 advising as to the feasibility of proposed improve-
ments A, B, and Cy and on, April 24, 1978 advising as to the
feasibility of proposed improvements D, Eq F, G, and H.
3. The improvements in Sections A, B, C, D and E -thrill be known
as part of the 1977-3 Street Improvement Project and the im-
provements in Sections F, G and H will be known as part of the
1978-1 Sanitary Sewer and Wa��ermain Improvement Project.
4. The Council will consider the improvements in accordance
the feasibility reports and the assessment of abutting property
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements pursuant,
to Minnesota Statutes 429.011. to 129.111 at an estimated cost of
$ •._
5. A Public Hearing shall be held on proposed. improvements A, -9, and
C on the 27th Day of March, 1978, and on Sections D, E, F, G, and
H on the 8th Day of May, 1978, in the Monticello City Hall at
7:30 P.M. and the administrator shall give mailed and published
notice of such hearings and improvements as required by law.
6. The motion for the adoption of the foregoinj7 re soli ,tion was
entered by Philip White and duly seconded by Arve Grimsmo.
Voting; in favor thereof: Philip White, Arve Grimsmo, Gene 'Walters,
Dan Blonigen. Voting against: none.
WHEREUPOM SAID RESOLUTION was declared duly passed and adopted this
13th day of March, 1978.
