City Council Resolution 1960-04VILLAGE OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION
W~RFEAS, the Great Northern Railway Company has requested permission to
construct and maintain a spur track crossing across Locust Street in the Village
of Monticello, Wright County, Minnesota, between Blocks 18 and 19, Original
Towns ite of Monticello as shown in "red° on the print attached hereto designated
Exhibit "A"`, and
WHEREAS construction of said spur track will be of mutual advantage to
both the Village of Monticello and the Great Northern Railway Company in that a
more efficient method will result to serve Monticello Feed Mill Company, Central
Ltunber Company and Land O'Lakes Creameries, Inc., with trackage, thus aiding in
the growth of the industries and the Village,
THERE~RE, Be it resolved that permission hereby be granted to Great
Northern Railway Company to construct and maintain a railway crossing across said
Locust Street as shown in "red" on Exhibit "A" attached.
The resolution was offered and seconded and on voice vote there were
ayes and ~~,, nays. Said resolution was declared adopted this _ ~.~
