Review of concept plan for the Chamber Gardens (Merchants/Master Gardeners) The Master Gardeners have met with Kitty Baltos/Chamber Director, and Michele Hertwig/President of Monticello Merchants. The Gardeners are in the process of completing a design for the corner of Broadway and Hwy. 25. Kitty and Michele do have concerns that the concept design might be more elaborate than the funds will allow and they did want the Park's Commission to know they are willing to work with whatever funds can be allocated for this project. The Master Gardener's wanted to do a complete design for the area and if the costs are too high it could be phased over the next couple of years. B. Review of concept plan for Ellison Park (Girl Scouts/Master Gardcncrs) Kim Blonigen, Community Coordinator for the Girl Scouts, and three Master Gardencrs are working on a design for the southwest corner of Ellison Park (by the sign). Gregg Engles and myself met the Gardeners on the site and Gregg indicated where the bounds of the gardens would be. They will bring to the meeting their ideas to discuss with the Commission. . .
