MEETING MINUTES
AUGUST 18, 2015

1. Meeting called to order by Chair at 4:29 pm
2. Consideration of adding items to the agenda. League information (KB)
3. Consideration of aooroving the minutes of the July 21. 2015 regular meeting. MOTION by Darren Paumen
to approve minutes forluly 21, 2015 regular meeting, SECONDED by Heath Bird, MOTION Passes
unanimously.
4. Update Items. Items noted, community center in the black monthly more often than in previous years,
discussed suggestion box item about staff unfriendliness with some input from the Board.
5. Consideration of prelimina_rybudget for 2016.
a. Membership Rate Increase. Sandra Theros made a MOTION for alternative 1 of a 10% increase
on family memberships that are new or have lapsed for 2016, SECOND by Darren Paumen.
MOTION PASSES unanimously.
b. Reduced pool hours. After lengthy discussion the Board opted to not reduce pool hours due to
low revenue savings and possible confusion of members and guests on fours. Kitty will track
usage through 2015/2016 school year for a more comprehensive review for 2016 school year
sta rt.
c. Raising Cancel fee to $75 from $50. Board agreed that the Cancel fee would not be raised at this
time.
Wedding Draping Options. MOTION by Darren Paumen to approve only one draping option, full
draping at the current rate being charged of $600, SECONDED by Heath Bird, MOTION PASSES
Unanimously.
6. Added item: Kitty provided information on research done by League Manager Leanne Holker that teams
do prefer to have the option to bring their own beer to the games. Kitty will be discussing with Jeff
O'Neill, but Board had a consensus that it would be okay with vending machines installed in the
concession stand.
7. Meeting adjourned at 5:16 pm
