The meeting was called to order by N�vor Will tandberg. Council members
present were: Blonigen, Markling. Absent: Martie, Rowan.
A presentation was made by Mrs. Karen Hanson and Jim Hanna as spokesmen
for the Senior Citizen Center. They outlined several items needed by
the Center including a new kiln priced at $575.00 with all components;
lighting needed in the back room priced at $164.50; carpeting needed in
the front section; repair of the sign in front and miscellaneous paint-
ing. Approval of the Council was given for the purchase of the kiln
and the lighting for the back room. Mrs.
IT and Mr. Hanna were
instructed to obtain estimates for the other needed items.
The main purpose of this special meeting was: HEARING ON ZONING ORDINANCE
CHANGES .
No citizen in attendance objected to the zoning ordinance changes. In
this regard, a motion was made by Dan Blonigen, seconded by Walt Markling,
to adopt an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance that all of Blocks o & 7
be re,.zoned R-3. (These blocks were zoned C-1).
Voting in favor: Blonigen, Markling, Sandberg. Opposed: None. Absent:
Martie, Rowan.
A motion was made by Walt Markling, seconded by Dan Blonigen, to adopt
an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance that the minimum rear -yard- depth
requirements be changed from a 30' requirement to a 10' requirement for
non-attached accessory structures. voting in favor: Blonigen, Markling,
Sandberg. Opposed: None. Absent: Martie, Rowan.
A'n accessory motion to this was made by Walt Markling, seconded by Dan
Blonigen, to amend paragraph 4-1 (B) of the Zoning Ordinance so that
it applies only to accessory structures attached to the principal structure.
Voting in favor: Blonigen, Markling, Sandberg. Opposed: None. Absent:,/`
Rowan, Martie.
A motion to approve the list of bills presented was made by Dan Bloni- V
ger., seconded by Walt Maxkling. Voting in favor: Blonigen, Markling,
Sandberg. Opposed: None. Absent: Rowan, Martie.
Council members in attendance approved a building code school for Axel ,
Rasmussen for Mav 29, 30 and 31. The village to assume Iof this cost.
No vote on this matter.
A discussion was held concerning a Federal Revenue Sharing report the
village is to submit for federal funds received for the period January
1� 1973 to June 30, 1973. In this regard, a motion was made by Walt
Markling, seconded by Dan Blonigen, to approve the submittal of the

Federal Revenue Sharing report as presented by the Administrator.
Voting in favor: Blonigen, Markling, Sandberg. Opoosed: None. Ab-
sent: Martie, Rowan.
The proposed expenditure of funds for this report is as follows:
Recreation: $2,000.00
Social Services: $2,000.00
Transportation: $4,500.00
General Government: $3,103.00
