Re: Storm Sewer Connection on Walnut Street
Gentlemen:
We have completed a study and a cost estimate to connect to the 42"
Storm sewer on Walnut Street between Broadway Street and River Street -o.
We propose to place a manhole over the 42" line and stub out east and
west wit -h-12" reinforced concrete pipe to a point approximately
18 feet from the centerline of Walnut Street. Following are the
estimated costs:
Material for manhole with cover and 32 feet
of 12" concrete pig S 416.60
$
Blacktop surfacing 00
Excavating and backfill 600.00
Engineering $ 200.00
TOTAL o o . . . . $ 11486.60
We recommend this work be done as soon as possible in order to make
the street passable before cold weather and to eliminate needs of
thawing frozen ground.
Yours truly,
MEYER . ROHLIN, INC.
