3-2. Consideration of Discussion re�ardin� the Fa�ade Improvement Pro�ram (JT)
A. REFERENCE AND BACKGROUND:
This item is in consideration of discussion about the Fa�ade Improvement Program.
Updated information regarding contractor estimates for the proposed scope of fa�ade
improvements will be provided to the EDA in the workshop. The EDA has approved this
program as pilot project for Block 35 only and...in the amount of $200,000 in grants for
eligible items. While the proposed fa�ade improvements are impressive and extensive,
the funding limits may require that participating properties prioritize the work items. The
EDA may also want to look at additional funding sources or programs as a means to
further support the proposed improvements.
A1. STAFF IMPACT: The staff impact due to further discussions regarding the Fa�ade
Improvement Program in a workshop setting is minimal.
A2. BUDGET IMPACT: There is minimal cost of continuing discussions regarding
potential adjustments in the implementation of the Fa�ade Improvement Program.
B. ALTERNATIVE ACTIONS:
EDA discretion. None needed; intended for discussion only.
C. STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
None. Discussion to benefit the EDA in its review of potential adjustments to the Fa�ade
Improvement Program.
