Snowmobiling in the Village of Monticello
The villalpe council of Monticello ordains:
1. Snowmobiles will be permitted the use of all village
streets excluding Broadway and Pine for the purpose
of entering and leaving* the villap'e of Monticello
between the hours of 8 A. M. and 1 A. M. every day.
2. All snowmobiles driven on village streets shall main-
tain a speed _limit of no more than 10 miles per hour.
3. Exhaust on all snowmobiles driven in the village limits
shall be muffled and noise sunnressed according to
state law.
4. Snowmobiles shall Hrive on the far right side of road-
way and in single file when more than one snowmobile
is involved.
5. All public lands such as school property, hospital
property, boulevards, etc. are CLOSED to snowmobiling.
6. All snowmobiles shall have at least one headlight and
one taillight in operating condition.
7. Snowmobilers shall obey all village and state traffic
laws when operating on villaege streets.
8. Parks in the village will be open to snowmobiling,

Violation of this ordinance shall be a misdemeanor, punish-
able by a fine of not more than $100.00 or 90 days in jail,
or both.
