RESOLUTION NO. 2019-24
FORMALLY RELEASING EIGHT PARCELS FOR PUBLIC AUCTION BY WRIGHT
COUNTY AND REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF THREE PARCELS OF LAND TO
THE CITY OF MONTICELLO AND FORMALLY ESTABLISHING PUBLIC USE OF
SAID PARCELS
WHEREAS, parcels of land in the City of Monticello identified as:
PID 155-159-000010
PID 155-019-005070
PID 155-015-001131
have been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes and are being prepared
for public auction under MN State Statutes, Chapter 282; and
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello has an interest acquiring the parcels of tax forfeited property
for the following:
PID 155-159-000010 — existing and future street right-of-way
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA: that parcel 155-159-000010 be conveyed to the City of Monticello for
authorized public use; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the following tax forfeit parcels are approved for sale at
public auction:
155-019-005070 Lot 7, Block E, Riggs Addition
155-015-001131 Lower Monticello, Block 1, Lot 2
ADOPTED BY the Monticello City Council this 25th day of March, 2019.
