The meeting was called to order by Ron Ho lund. The minutes of the June meeting
were read and approved.
Tom Eidem talked to Dale Lungwitz about t e O.D. Hendricks project. O.D. would
like the street easement on the N. 40ft 0 lot 4 blk 1 (across from Best in Webb)
the N. ~) dropped. At this point it serve no purpose. O.D. is concerned he
will not have the required 50' for state urposes and the 40' required by the
city. Having to set back his building 90' would not allow him to expand the
buildinr.; in the future. O.D. wants to hav the set back start at the most
northerly line instead of the most southe ly line. It is not a dedicated street
at the present. Pringle says that we shou d agree to have the city drop the
easement. The city is concerned that in t e future the city may need the prop-
erty as an access drive to and from the w lIs. The city proposes to drop the
street easement and give a driveway easem nt so that O. D. Hendricks can get as
close to the line as possible. This then hould give him ample room for future
expansion. If this is acted on, Hendricks is real close to closing a deal and
relocating. Because of the closeness to N.S.P. (who will clean up the lime)
he may save up $200,000 costs of preparin holding ponds, and eventually expand
into the fire extinguisher line.

a mechanical equipment repair business he is planning to start early in the
spring of 1984. He sold a previous busine s in Rodgers w/a no competition
clause. The clause is due to expire next pring. He talked with Dale Lungwitz.
Anderson is looking at approximately 2.7 cres near Clow Stamping. Again, Tom
will prepare a proposal assuming certain actors , such as total dollar amounts,

The Industrial Day Event was set for September 12, with golfing to be at The
Monticello Country Club. Major discussio concerned industrial open houses.
Should they be all day, with all industries being involved, or just some and
at different times of the day. It was decided to have the open house open to the
public. It was also suggested that Alle make a list of all manufacturing
plants to see if they would become involved, how many people they could take
on a tour at one time, and how long the would care to hold tours during the day.
This report would be ready sa soon as p ssible.
John Bondus suggested the committe take
