There was a great deal of debate, discussion and compromise during ommittee action. We established a two-tiered minimum wage. Small business in Minnesota (those with annual sa es of less than $ 3 62,500 ) will have to pay a minimum wage f $3.50 in 1988, $3.65 in 1989, and $3.80 in 1990, for a otal increase of 45 cents. Larger business will have to inc ease their minimum wage to $3.55 in 1988, $3.85 in 1989, and $3.95 in 1990, for a total increase of 60 cents. Thank you for taking the time concerns on this matter.
