SPECIAL MEETING OF THE M NTICELLO CITY COUNCIL
4 P.M.
Members present: Con Johnsoni, Stanley Hall, Dick Martie,
Gene Walter, .
Member absent: Denton Eric son.
In attendance: Civic Center Committee members Shelly
Johnson and Karen Hanson.
Herb Ketcham and an associate reviewed four city hall
design concepts with the city council. Council consensus
favored scheme C, with a base ent which was a 10,000
square foot structure with a raised roof in the council
chambers. The council chambers were approximately 1,400
square feet. Estimated cost for the structure was
$228,924. for the main floor (6000 square feet, and $60,000
(4000 square feet) for the basement.
