Special meeting held this day at high school activity for
the puppose fo a, -hearing on special assessments of curb and
gutter,?street improvement and lighting and sidewalk improvements.
The hearing was properly held with notification in paper and
cards to individual propertyaowners.
Discussion was held and the assessments were listed as follows:
Curb and Gutter .8153 per front foot
Street Imp. .75 it
Lighting 3.87 it
Sidewalk .41 per square foot on 411
The following objections were heard:
Mr. Weisner: Objected to sidewalk assessment to individual
property owner.
Advent Church Objected to highway moving into their property
line and not replacing their sidewalk.

Francis Klein: Objected to moving Highway #152 south between
Dayton and Mulberry streets.
On motion adjouned

RESOLUT.J- IN REGARDS TO ASSESSMENT ROLE FOR CURB AND GUTTER,
STREET, AND LIGH-ING IMPROV EYENTS .
Whereas the d)ove mentioned improver.rrerits were made within the Village of Monticello
and the cost of said improvements are to be assessed to adjoining property owners,
and whereas all legal steps in prior to and after said improvement were taken
and a public hearing was held on said assessments in the High sehool at 8:00 P.M
on October 17, 1960 .
Motion by to adopt the following resolution. Be it hereby resolved
by the village council of Monticellorthetthe following rates of assessment be
approved Curb and gutter .8153, per front foot.
Street Improvement .75 tt it it .
Lighting Imp. 3.87 it it it
Sidewalk .41 per square foot on 411 walk,.

and that the assessment role as prepared and as submitted to the county auditors
office be approved as of fthuaxyr,,J, 1961. Total assessment in the amount of
$319925.89.
