SPECIAL MEETING - PARKS COMMISSION
Wednesday July 7, 1999 - 4:30 p.m.

Jeff O'Neill, Gregg Engle, Wanda Kraemer
The special meeting was scheduled to review the appearance of the parks for the current season
and also to begin discussions on budget items for the next budget cycle. The following parks
were included in this year's tour: Parkside at Meadow Oaks, Mississippi Drive Park, River Mill
Park, Freeway Fields, Meadow Oak Park, Wildwood Ridge, Cardinal J-lills Tot Lot, Pioneer
Park, Par West Park, Prairie West Park, East Bridge Park, and Ellison Park, After the tour, the
Commissioners requested staff to write a letter to the Parks Maintenance Department and City
Council expressing their approval of the appearance of the parks. They were very pleased with
the improvement that have been accomplished over the past year.
