SPECIAL MEETING - MON ICELLO CITY COUNCIL
Tuesday July 25, 006 - 5 p.m.
Members Present:
Clint Herbst, Wayne Mayer, T m Perrault, Glen Posusta and Brian Stumpf.
Members Absent:
None
1. Call to Order.
The meeting was called to order at 5 p.m. for he purpose of conducting interviews with two
candidates for the position of City Administr tor.
Interviews were conducted with Mr. Pat Klae s of Elk River and Mr. Jeff O'Neill of
Monticello. A third candidate selected for an interview, Mr. Steve Robertson of Plain view,
Minnesota, decided not to pursue the position at this time. The interview process was
completed at 7:15 p.m. After further discuss on of the two applicants, it was the consensus of
the Council to get some samples of employm nt contracts used by other cities that would be
used as a basis for an offer to a new administ ator. In addition, it was the consensus ofthe
Council that another special meeting would b held on Tuesday, August I, 2006 at 6 p.m. for
the purpose of further reviewing the applican s and possible terms of an employment contract.
