RESOLUTION NO. 2020-38
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT WRIGHT COUNTY HOLD PARCEL OF LAND
FOR THE CITY OF MONTICELLO FOR POSSIBLE PRIVATE DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, parcels of land in the City of Monticello identified as PID 155-193-001020 has
been forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of taxes and is available for public
purchase; and
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello has an interest in holding PID 155-193-001020 for the
purpose of a private development and determining payment of unpaid assessment interest; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA: that the City of Monticello requests that Wright County place parcel 155-193-
0010020 on a six month -hold and removal from active sale list to allow a potential buyer to
proceed through entitlement and approval processes prior to purchase and to allow the City of
Monticello adequate time to determine amount and payment of unpaid special assessment
interest; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the following tax forfeit parcel is approved for hold by the
City of Monticello:
