PLANNING COMMISSION
July 17, 1974
The regular meeting of the C~ty Planning Commission
was called to order at 7:30 P. M. by Chairman Chuck
Stumpf. Members present were: Maus, Miller, Muehl-
bauer, Stumpf, Topel, White. One seat remained vacated.
The minutes of June 19, 1974 were approved as presented.
Mr. Stumpf asked for nominations to fill the Planning
Commission seat vacated by the resignation of Mr. Mel
Worth. After discussion, a motion was made by F.
Topel, seconded by J. W. Miller, to recommend to the
Mayor and Council that Mr.WilMpd E. (Andy) Anderson,
of 1000 E. River Street;'" ~~/~I/'Pfanning Commission mem-
ber. Voting in favor: MZus, Miller, Muehlbauer, Stumpf,
Topel, White. Opposed: None. Motion carried.

A discussion was held in regard to a variance permit
request by Mr. Ron Michaelis, of Red's Mobil Service.
Mr. Michaelis requests a variance permit to build up
to his property line at his business location. In this
regard, a motion was made by Mr. F. Topel, seconded by
J. Maus, to recommend that a variance permit be issued
to Mr. Michaelis under Chapter 4, paragraph l-C, of
the Monticello Zoning Ordinance. Voting in favor: Maus,
Miller, Muehlbauer, Stumpf, Topel, White. Opposed: None.
Motion carried.
A motion to adjourn was made by Miller, seconded by
Topel. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 P. M.
