City Council Resolution 1974-03RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Locust Street water
main beginning at the 61, water main on Walnut Street,
southerly under the tracks to Sixth Street, then westerly
to the existing water main on Locust Street, and to assess
the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of
the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Stats.., Secs. 429.011
to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended).
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to Meyer-Rohlin,
Inc., for study and that they are instructed to report to
the council with all convenient speed advising the council
in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement
is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as
proposed or in connection with some other improvementp and
the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
