City Council Resolution 1989-34RESOLUTION 89-34 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PROPOSED 1990 BUDGET AND SETTING A PROPOSED TAX LEVY WHEREAS, the City Administrator has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed budget setting forth therein his estimated needs of the City of Monticello for all operations and the debt service for the fiscal year comencing January 1, 1990. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO that the proposed budget so submitted by the City Administrator is adopted as a preliminary budget for the fiscal year comencing January 1, 1990, and be it further resolved by the Council of the City of Monticello that there be, and hereby is, levied for the fiscal year comencing on January 1, 1990, and the following sums for the respective purposes indicated therein, upon the taxable property of the City of Monticello, to wit: Revenue General $ 1,285,665 Library 28,625 OAA 28,300 HRA 19,875 Tree 16,800 Transportation 11,700 Debt Retirement Debt service funds 1,0761,541 Capital Improvements Capital improvement revolving 250,000 TOTAL PROPOSED TAX LEVY $ 2,7171506 The above resolution was introduced by Councilmember Warren Smith ,was duly seconded by Councilmember Dan Blonigen , with the following voting in favor: Ken Maus, Fran Fair, Warren Smith, Shirley Anderson, Dan Blonigen Opposed: None The City Administrator is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Wright County, Minnesota.
