RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE
OF A CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE
WHEREAS, the Monticello Lions Club has submitted an application to the City Council of
Monticello for the issuance of a charitable gambling license to conduct pull -tab operations at
Hawks Bar and Grill in Monticello, Minnesota
WHEREAS, upon review of the organization's activities, the City Council is not opposed to the
gambling license being issued by the State Gambling Control Board.
NOW THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO,
MINNESOTA that the Monticello Lions Club application for a charitable gambling license at
Hawks Bar and Grill is hereby approved, and the State Gambling Control Board is authorized to
process the application.
Adopted by the City Council this 25th day of February. 2002.
