RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT, ACCEPTING
FEASIBILITY REPORT AND DESIGN PLANS AND
CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
CSAH 75 FROM WASHINGTON STREET TO OTTER CREEK
PROJECT NO. 2000-16C
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve CSAH 75 between Washington Street and Otter Creek by the
redesign and installation of street improvements, curb and gutter replacement where necessary, upgrades to
sewer and water utilities and other appurtenant work, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the proposed project is necessary, cost effective and feasible, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED B Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTI CELLO,
MINNESOTA:
That the Wright County Highway Department and WSB & Associates, Inc. are instructed to report
to the Council advising the Council in a preliminary was to whether the proposed improvement is
necessary, cost effective and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvements and the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended.
2. That the Wright County Highway Department and WSB & Associates, Inc. have prepared the
feasibility report and design plans for the improvements to CSAH 75 and has submitted the report
to the City Council.
3. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the design and the
assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $3,200,000.
4. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 22nd day of April, 2002 in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
