RESOLUTION NO. 2002-16
RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT, ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY
REPORT AND AUTHORIZING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
GROVELAND THIRD ADDITION
PROJECT NO. 2002-02C
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the streets within in the Groveland Third Addition development by
the construction of streets, installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and all other necessary
appurtenant work and to assess the benefitting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement,
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to WSB & Associates, Inc. for study and that they are
instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary
way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
2. That WSB & Associates has prepared the feasibility report for the improvements in the Groveland
3rd Addition at an estimated cost of $1,042,994 and has submitted the report to the City Council on
April 8, 2002.
3. That the proposed improvement si necessary, cost-effective and feasible as detailed in the feasibility
report and that the improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted
April 8, 2002.
4. WSB & Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer
shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 8"' day of April, 2002.
