RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTICELLO, MINNESOTA:
A certain petition requesting the improvement of Cedar Street from Dundas Road to the
northern boundary of Kjellberg East mobile home park by construction of utility and
roadway improvements and other necessary appurtenant work, filed with the Council on
June 10, 2002, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of
property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes,
Section 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to Bret Weiss of WSB & Associates, and he is instructed
to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary
way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best
be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated
cost of the improvement as recommended.
3. The petitioner will deposit with the City funds equal to the cost of preparing the
feasibility study. If the project proceeds, the deposit will be returned to the
petitioner and said cost incorporated into the project costs and assessed accordingly.
