MAY 23, 1988
Council Members Present: Arve Grimsmo, William Fair, Dan Blonigen, Fran Fair,
Warren Smith.
County Staff Present: Doug Gruber.
City Staff Present: Gary Anderson.
The Monticello Board of Review was reconvened at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Arve
Grimsmo. The opening comments from the Mayor was that he would like to take
care of the public that are present then go on to the other suggested
recommendations by the city and county staff.
1. Item #41 & 23 from attached list. Mr. Leon Greenslit. Motion by Fran
Fair, second by William Fair to leave the 1988 total estimated market
value of $103,500, no change. Motion carried unanimously. PID#
155010-020030, 020081, 019010.
2. Item #23 & 30. Paula Holker. Motion by William Fair, seconded by Dan
Blonigen to reduce the 1988 total estimated market value from $274,000 to
$211,400. Motion carried unanimously. PID# 155010-053070, 053090,
053100.
3. Stuart Hoglund/Comfort Inn. PID# 155500-042104. Motion by William Fair,
seconded by Dan Blonigen to leave the total 1988 estimated market value
of $527,900 with no change. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Ken Holker/Law Offices. PID# 155010-001131. Motion by William Fair,
seconded by Fran Fair to reduce the 1988b total estimated market value
from $72,200 to $70,500. Motion carried unanimously.
5. Judith O'Donnell Smith. PID# 155015-033090. Motion by William Fair,
seconded by Dan Blonigen to leave the total 1988 estimated market value
at $87,300 no change. Motion carried unanimously.
6. Keith Kjellbergs/Kjellberg Plumbing & Heating. PID# 155010-052130. Motion
by Dan Blonigen, seconded by William Fair to leave the 1988 total
estimated market value at $57,800 no change. Motion carried unanimously.
7. Mr. Robert Mosford/Mosford & Barthel Inc. PID# 155010-071090. Motion by
William Fair, seconded by Warren Smith to leave the total 1988 estimated
market value at $224,900 no change. Motion carried unanimously.
8. PID# 155010-081020. Francis Dubay. Motion by William Fair, seconded by
Fran Fair to reduce the total 1988 estimated market value from $91,400 to
$87,400. Motion carried unanimously.
9. Thomas Holthaus & Matt Holker/West Side Market. PID# 155020-004010.
Motion by William Fair, seconded by Warren Smith to reduce the total 1988
estimated market value from $182,900 to $127,000. Motion carried
unanimously.

11. PID# 155046-001100. Lance and Judith Gillam. Motion by William Fair,
seconded by Warren Smith to reduce the total 1988 estimated market value
from $88,500 to $82,900. Motion carried unanimously.
12. PID# 155048-001070. Marilyn Swanson. Motion by William Fair, seconded by
Warren Smith to reduce the total 1988 estimated market value from
$104,400 to $98,100. Motion carried unanimously.
13. PID# 155053-001010. DKC Properties, Inc. Motion by William Fair, seconded
by Warren Smith to leave the 1988 estimated market value at $1,419,800,
no change. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by William Fair, seconded by Fran Fair to adjourn the 1988 Monticello
City Board of Review Meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
