RESOLUTION NO. 2022-03
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDING FROM THE
CENTRAL MINNESOTA ARTS BOARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,500
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello applied for a grant from the Central Minnesota Arts Board
for $3,500 for Poetry Residency Grant; and
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello was notified by the Central Minnesota Arts Board that the
City received an award for the Poetry Residency Grant of $3,500; and
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello received 80% of the grant in the amount of $2,800 with
remainder being paid on completion; and
WHEREAS, there is no local match for the grant.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MONTICELLO:
That the City Council authorizes accepting grant funding of $3,500 from Central Minnesota Arts
Board.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 24th day of January, 2022.
