RESOLUTION NO. 2022-17
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDING FROM THE
CENTRAL MINNESOTA ARTS BOARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,000
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello applied for a grant from the Central Minnesota Arts
Board for $8,000 for MonticellGLOW parade and related activities; and
WHEREAS, The City of Monticello was notified by the Central Minnesota Arts Board that
the City received an award of $8,000 for the MonticellGLOW parade and related activities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Monticello received 80% of the grant in the amount of $6,400
with remainder being paid on completion; and
WHEREAS, there is no local match for the grant.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MONTICELLO: That the City Council authorizes accepting grant funding of $8,000 from Central
Minnesota Arts Board.
Adopted by the Monticello City Council this 28th day of February, 2022.
